I proved that last week! woo hoo! ;) I expect all you summer slummers to be there this week if you're in town. Summer update: there have been two DJ's this summer. One played last week, and also for a good part of the beginning of the summer. He's lame because he doesn't play "American Pie" at midnight, and never can be coerced into doing it either. The other DJ played for three weeks before that, and he plays an awesome selection. Hopefully, he'll be back this week and for the semester. The parts of John & Olivia & the cast are appropriately sung the by the same. ------------ Grease Grease Soundtrack Thursday Nights (John Travolta/Olivia Newton-John & Cast) Summer dancin' had me a blast - summer dancin', went by so fast I met a girl crazy for me - I met a boy, cute as can be Summer days driftin' away, to uh-oh those Thursday nights Tell me more, tell me more, did they forget how to dance? Tell me more, tell me more, like, when was a chance? She looked at me, going to class - he went by me, I knew he could dance I walk on by, she turned around - he's a clutz, tripped on the ground Summer sun, something's begun, but uh-oh those Thursday nights Tell me more, tell me more, was it love at first sight? Tell me more, tell me more, did you go out that night? Took her for, a Dance-At-Joes - we were dancing, until close We listened to all that Retro rock - we stayed out til one o'clock Summer dancin don't mean a thing, but uh-oh those Thursday nights Tell me more, tell me more, that there is more to say Tell me more, tell me more, cause it couldn't end that way! He got a drink, probably made for three [$3 double stoli] - well she downed it, left none for me! He was sweet, gonna turn twenty-three - well, she was great, taught me about trees [NOT B-TREES!] Summer beat, boy and girl meet, but uh-oh those Thursday nights Tell me more, tell me more, how much dough did he spend? Tell me more, tell me more, could she get me a friend? The summer left, that's where it ends - so I said, lets go dance again! That's when we made a true vow [to dance-at-joes] - wonder what the fall DJ'll spin now Playing music while ripped it may seem, but oh, those Thursday nights Tell me more, tell me more. --Steve
