This is my port of FIGlet for MacOS.
The FIGlet homepage describes the functionality of FIGlet very well.
This is NOT the same as the Visual Basic port to MacOS that is currently being beta tested. I meant for this to be a direct port of the UNIX version, and the core is going to remain that way.
The last release of the MacOS version of FIGlet is 1.1
This version is based on FIGlet version 2.2 (Feb 18 1997).
It was released on August 11, 1997.
Because this is a port, you must be aware that there are two version numbers related to this program.
These are two completely unrelated version numbers. #1 refers to the platform independent source code version, and #2 refers to the version number that I give the MacOS version. This seems confusing, but you really don't need to worry about #1 unless you specifically need features that #1 is updated to provide. Because of the problems this poses, the next version of FIGlet I release will be based upon the versioning system as follows: FIGlet 2.21 for MacOS v2.0. As described above, #1 = 2.21, and #2 = 2.0. Does that sound less complicated? I think so.

Make sure you click on the link above and select the "Download" or "Save link as..." option. Do not click on a link and "save" the text that is displayed as a file. (This results in a corrupt file.)
