FlexPort is an enhancement of the Microsoft default FILE: printer port offering powerful post-processing for Microsoft Windows printing
Any printer can be configured to send its data to FlexPort instead of the printer or to the FILE: port. This allows the user to specify a default destination for the output file or whether the output data is appended to an existing file or a unique file is created for each print job. It all happens without user intervention at print time.
In addition, instead of sending the output to a file, a user-defined program can be specified to receive the print output. This program can then perform any kind of post-processing that is required.
